BAR, TOILET AND PUBLIC SERVICES KIOSKS PROVIDING FULL FACILITIES TO A LARGE URBAN SPACE

In this large multi-function urban space designed by Swiss architect Carlos López, several weekly markets are held, as well as trade shows, circuses and many other kinds of events. Microarquitectura has installed six new modules, grouped in 3 different areas. Two of these function as bars and the third provides services to the markets, the maintenance team and the skatepark users, who have a meeting room, workshop and support area for their activity. They are fitted with accessible toilets for people with physical disabilities. The outer cladding is made of aluminium sheets with horizontal undulation, with the aim of helping the modules fit in with their surrounding thanks to their colour and shine, as well as their texture, so that they have a discrete presence.
